The 5 Stages of Grief Model (video)

📖 The experiences and observations of psychiatrist Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross led her to formulate the theory of the 5 Stages of Grief, which is one of the most renowned grief models in psychology.

We’ve chosen to explore this model because it has been extensively utilised and studied, not only in clinical settings but also in the business world. Nevertheless, this is just one psychological theory of grief. Every individual faces a unique situation, and each loss is distinct. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to grieving, and this model is intended as a guide and a helpful tool.

In the following video, psychologist Marina will explore:

• Denial (the first stage of grief), including examples and effective tips to help you cope with this stage.

• Anger (the second stage of grief), including how it may manifest and advice to navigate these difficult emotions.

• How grief stages are not always linear, and how you may experience them in a different sequence.

👉 Next, we will continue our exploration of the 5 Stages of Grief Model.
