Sarah is a psychologist at OpenUp. She is fascinated by human behaviour and the world in which we are living. With an open mind and curiosity for the unknown. She cares about the mental well-being of both society and the individual.

As a psychologist, she has a holistic view of the human being and believes in the power of diversity, openness and connection. Sarah will quickly make you feel at ease and will tailor her sessions to your personal needs. She likes to accompany you along your life path, to reconnect with your personal strength and regain your balance. She invites you to act by means of this inner strength and to investigate together with you how to use this to take concrete action and realize goals.

Sarah works, among others, via the principles of CBT and solution-focused therapy. She has extensive experience in cross-cultural psychology. As such, she works for over 8 years in different countries within various development projects. As psychologist she is involved with ‘Médecins du Monde’, among others. In the Netherlands she has been managing director of ‘Foundation de Zorgambassade’ and together with a small team she founded ‘Oncode Institute’. Her goal is always: to generate societal impact and systemic change, both on a macro and micro level.

Sarah obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Psychology at the University of Groningen and the Universitat de València. For her own mental well-being; classical music, the world’s diversity and Mother Nature, are essential to Sarah. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and culture, loves adventure and likes to be active outdoors, preferably in the mountains.

Sarah speaks Dutch, English and Spanish.
