Vincent is a psychologist at OpenUp. His empathetic, open-minded, and non-judgemental approach creates a safe and positive environment to openly share your story. With his attentive and curious listening abilities, he encourages you to explore your personal values, fostering greater self-awareness and translating these insights into practical tools for personal development. Vincent firmly believes that challenges serve as opportunities for transformation, empowering individuals to establish boundaries, overcome limiting beliefs, take committed action, and ultimately thrive and flourish.

Vincent’s primary goal is to help you uncover your strengths, tap into your resources, and access your inner wisdom. During sessions, he guides you to achieve a profound comprehension of your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and obstacles, ultimately inspiring you toward a journey of self-discovery. Drawing from his own meditation and mindfulness practices, he encourages others to embrace and cultivate compassion, gratitude, honesty, and playfulness on their path of learning and self-development.

Vincent received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology at the Open University of Amsterdam. He has received professional training in various therapeutic approaches, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), mindfulness, meditation (Vipassana), and Practical Philosophy.

To take care of his own mental well-being, Vincent leads a healthy and active lifestyle, nurturing strong social connections and spending enough time in nature. He finds joy in playing musical instruments, engaging in regular exercise, traveling, and spending time with his loved ones.

Vincent speaks both Dutch and English.
