Spaces are live sessions with groups of people, some are recorded and saved in the Library for future watching.
OpenUp offers three different types of Spaces:

  • Group sessions; interactively share experiences and mindfulness.
  • Masterclasses; Listen, learn, and gain practical insights.
  • Mindfulness; Practice mindfulness in a group. Your moment to arrive in the here & now.

In this group meditation, you will cultivate Trust in yourself and your feelings. You will develop faith in the validity of your own experience, allowing it to unfold in its own way instead of fighting against it. 

Meditation is a powerful training that has been widely backed up by science. Some of its benefits are: 

> Greater concentration and focus 

> Less distress and more resilience 

> More capacity to act consciously rather than react out of a habitual pattern

> More compassion, acceptance, and patience, for oneself and others

> Increased sense of wholeness and well-being

Our meditation group sessions are guided by professional psychologists experienced in mindfulness practice. Previous experience is not required to join.

Healthy boundaries in practice

If you’ve already attended our “setting healthy boundaries” session – this is where you can practice your new skills! This session’s focus is not on psycho-education and new information. Instead, this session is a safe space to practice setting healthy boundaries, just as you learned in the previous group session.

There will be role plays, discussions, and you can bring real-life scenarios where you would like to practice setting healthy boundaries.

For this session we ask you to switch your camera and microphone on, because it is interactive and needs your participation.

Transforming Conversations: The Art of Listening

Too often in conversations, we find ourselves subtly trying to dominate or convince the other party, leading to misunderstandings and misinterpretations. This interactive group session is an invitation to explore why communication can sometimes be so challenging, and how we can shift from a competitive mindset to one of collaboration.

Through insightful discussions, theory, and hands-on practice, you will unearth your own communication pitfalls, learn the difference between sending a message and ensuring it’s received, and develop strategies to genuinely understand others.
