Sarah is a psychologist at OpenUp. Her main focus is to build a good relationship and collaborate on your goals and growth. She is empathetic and dynamic and will make you work, but will always be on the sidelines to support you.

Sarah will reinforce your self-compassion and raise your awareness of the patterns that are hindering your growth including stress, relationships, sleep, transitions or simply finding more peace. In the sessions, she will mainly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with influences of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy (ST). She will focus on healthier skills building, rewiring thought patterns and identifying emotional blockages.

In order to stay healthy, Sarah believes that mind-body connection is essential. She will stay active and keep her body moving by going for a run in nature, rowing on the canals or doing yoga. She also frequently listens to inspiring podcasts, reads interesting book or has a conversation with a loved one.

Sarah obtained her Master’s in Psychology at Webster University Leiden. As a French-born with Polish origins and living in the Netherlands for ten years during her childhood, she has an understanding of the adjustments needed when in another country. She has lived in Thailand for a year and has always worked in international environments with international clients.

Sarah speaks both English and French.

"Growth is always a victory, no matter how big or small. I will be there to support you in every step of the way."
