Gijs Coppens is a licensed psychologist and the founder of OpenUp, dedicated to making mental well-being accessible to everyone. At OpenUp, he leads a team of over 200 professionals who help more than 300,000 employees across Europe take care of their mental health through meaningful conversations and expert support.

 

Before founding OpenUp, Gijs worked in private practice and clinical settings, gaining valuable insights into the barriers people face when seeking mental health support. This experience inspired his mission to create more accessible pathways to meaningful conversations and professional guidance.
