Amsterdam, June 2025 – Impact agency Blyde Benelux (B Corp) has recently entered into a partnership with OpenUp, the platform for mental health and personal growth. The collaboration focuses on increasing the visibility of OpenUp’s mission: making mental healthcare accessible to everyone. Over the coming months, Blyde will support OpenUp in the areas of PR, communications and thought leadership within the healthcare domain.
OpenUp makes mental healthcare accessible and low-barrier through online consultations, coaching, masterclasses and self-help tools. In doing so, they help people feel stronger, more self-aware and happier in their daily lives and at work. Their 150+ psychologists and experts now support employees at more than 1,500 organisations across Europe, from start-ups to multinationals. “We don’t just want to help people feel better, we want to spark a mental health movement,” says Gijs Coppens, clinical psychologist and founder of OpenUp. “The more people we can inspire to actively work on their mental resilience, the better. That starts with normalising the conversation. At home, at work and in society as a whole. By joining forces with Blyde, we want to raise awareness around mental health and prevention.”
Greater visibility, fewer barriers
With this new partnership, OpenUp aims not only to increase its visibility, but also to strengthen its role as a driving force for change within the healthcare landscape. Blyde supports the platform in communicating its vision on preventive care and opening up conversations about mental health challenges in the workplace. At a time when nearly half of all employees do not feel comfortable raising mental health concerns, there is more need than ever for organisations that actively start the conversation and lower the threshold.
Workplace happiness as a foundation for impact
For Blyde, this partnership is a natural fit with their own conviction that workplace happiness is not a luxury, but a fundamental requirement for a healthy working culture. The agency works exclusively with people, brands, organisations and governments that leave a positive footprint. “The partnership with OpenUp feels like an obvious match,” says Jeanne Kortenoever, PR adviser and happy people officer at Blyde Benelux. “Workplace happiness and mental health are, in our view, not a nice-to-have, but an important pillar to continuously work on. We strive for our team to rate their (work) happiness at 8 or above. That is why we are not only OpenUp’s communications partner, but also a client.”
