An iftar at the office, a rainbow flag on the intranet, an internal webinar on racism… All meaningful and well-intentioned initiatives that help raise awareness and recognition of different forms of diversity.

At the same time, without being supported by a broader inclusive organisational culture, these initiatives can also highlight where things are still falling short.

We often want to do the right thing but don’t always know how. Even with the best intentions, uncertainty—or even paralysis—can arise. We may hold back out of fear of saying the wrong thing, or because we ourselves are still learning. In some parts of the world, we’re even seeing D&I policies disappear altogether.

So how do you navigate this—both as an organisation and as an individual within it—in a thoughtful and powerful way, especially in today’s world? And how do you contribute to a workplace where all colleagues feel seen, safe, and valued?

In this masterclass, social psychologist and diversity & inclusion expert Nina Blussé will shed light on the often invisible patterns of exclusion and discomfort within organisations. Together, we’ll explore how things can be done differently: in a structural, sustainable way, with attention to the whole person.

This masterclass is for anyone who:

  • wants to contribute to an inclusive workplace, but sometimes wonders how to do so in a respectful and effective way;
  • is aware of blind spots and curious about different perspectives, identities, and experiences at work;
  • wants to better understand the impact of (unintentional) exclusion and learn what active allyship looks like in practice.

Can’t attend live? No problem—if you register, you’ll receive the recording afterwards by email.
