Louisa is a psychologist at OpenUp.

Through her authentic and appreciative manner, she creates a space in which you can quickly feel comfortable. Resource- and solution-oriented, she accompanies you with conversations and small exercises on your individual path. Louisa’s systemic way of working invites you to develop new perspectives on your issues and to work out the first small steps in a self-effective way.

Supporting clients to perceive their own needs and set boundaries is especially important to Louisa. Self-care, in her view, is especially important for one’s own mental health.

As a psychologist, Louisa has worked with adults and children for 5 years. She is also in training to become a psychological psychotherapist (systemic therapy), through which she is acquiring comprehensive therapeutic skills.

In her work, she focuses on systemic counselling in psychological stress or professional orientation cases. She also advises parents or educators on children with psychological stress or disabilities.

For her own mental health, Louisa enjoys going to sports or meeting friends. She also draws many beneficial impulses from podcasts or books.

Louisa completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Radboud-Universiteit in Nijmegen (NL) and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (NL). She earned additional certifications in Solution-Focused Therapy and Systemic Counseling in Germany. She expects to complete her training in Psychological Psychotherapy at the ifs in Essen (DE) in 2025.

Louisa speaks German.
