Paulina is a psychologist at Open Up. She creates a calm and safe space that makes it easy to open up. She will help you gain insights into what your patterns are and why you might feel “stuck” sometimes. According to your needs, cultural background and strengths she will create a treatment plan and support you on your journey. She does this by helping you find your own answers and insights as well as by teaching you new skills and knowledge that you can apply in your daily life.
Paulina works in an integrative and holistic way. She uses methods such as ACT, CBT, schema-focused therapy and mindfulness. Together with you, she will choose the method that matches best with what you need. This way, you can effectively attain the goals that we defined at the beginning of the treatment.
To take care of her own mental health Paulina prioritizes sleeping well, eating healthy and exercising. She also plans and organizes her day in the morning to feel safe and structured instead of overwhelmed. In addition, she sets a good work-life balance and leaves enough room for free time with her loved ones. She likes to go on weekend trips in nature.
Paulina completed her studies at the Sigmund Freund University in Berlin and has three years of experience working as a psychologist.
Paulina speaks both English and German.
