Zoë is a psychologist at OpenUp. Zoë is an empathetic and understanding individual. She thinks it’s very important to listen to her clients with an unbiased, open-minded approach. Zoë believes working with her clients as an equal team will work wonders.

Zoë has been working in the Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg field for almost five years. She obtained her bachelor of Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. After this, she completed multiple post-master education in the field of CBT, EMDR and ACT.

Zoë started her career in a specialised trauma centre, where she treated a heterogeneous group of patients with PTSD. She then joined a psychotherapy practice where she was taught psychodynamic psychotherapy and there she spent a lot of time writing diagnostic rapports.

To take care of her mental health, Zoë often takes time to be mindful during even the busiest days and tries to have a daily routine to feel more grounded.

Zoë speaks Dutch and English.
