With a goal-oriented approach, Emanuele will support you in achieving a greater sense of meaning, fulfilment, and empowerment.
No matter where you stand, Emanuele will approach you with a truly open-minded, understanding, non-judgmental, and often humorous attitude. He believes that our well-being results from physical, social, emotional, intellectual, cultural, vocational, spiritual, and environmental factors. Emanuele will look at you not just as an individual, but as a person in relation to others and participating in a specific socio-cultural context.
Emanuele uses an integrative approach based on Gestalt, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and socio-cognitive transactional analysis, balancing its component to find the best fit for you.
He has been working as a mental health counsellor since 2013, both in private practice and at international wards of private clinics. He has also been working online since 2019, with people from all continents (except Antarctica!).
To take care of his own mental health, Emanuele likes to read and write. He also keeps his inner child alive by collecting lego (you might occasionally spot one behind his back when you talk together).
Emanuele got a BA and MA in Communication Studies (summa cum laude), achieved his Ph.D. in Sociology of culture and communication, and later earned BA and MA in Clinical Psychology (summa cum laude) at the University of Trieste. He completed a 4-year course in Gestalt counselling. He also got an MA in Mindfulness: practice, clinical applications and neuroscience at the University La Sapienza of Rome. He is a teacher of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program.
Emanuele speaks both Italian and English.
