Mindi is a psychologist at OpenUp. She is an empathetic, caring, and open-minded individual who is committed to empowering you to discover the solutions that will enable you to live your best, joy-filled life. Mindi is passionate about holistic approaches to well-being and has in-depth training in mindfulness, somatic, and trauma therapy.

Mindi’s approach is to provide a safe, open space in which to explore your personal or professional challenges. Together, a solution will be explored using somatic, mindfulness, and holistic approaches that can be incorporated into your daily life. Throughout the process of working together, you will have the autonomy to decide what is working for your life along with the accountability to make these changes.

For the last 15+ years, Mindi has traveled around the globe studying and living immersed in different cultures where she has studied and worked along- side psychologists, yoga masters, and mindfulness teachers. Part of Mindi’s work during this time has been to train yoga teachers and has been psychologically supporting these groups of individuals to process trauma as part of the intensive, immersive experience. Additionally, Mindi has continued to offer psychological sessions that have utilised approaches such as CBT and mindfulness alongside somatic tools. Originally born and raised in Southern Louisiana, Mindi brings a depth, warmth, and personality to each session she offers.

To take care of her mental well-being, Mindi practices yoga, meditates, and chants daily. She loves to take runs out in nature.
