Mora is a psychologist at OpenUp. Her main goal is to provide you with a safe space for you to explore the things that have been keeping you “stuck” and find new ways to see challenges to work towards your goals. Her warm and understanding character contributes to a comfortable and at ease environment during the sessions.

Growing up in an international environment, Mora has always appreciated the different elements that makes us, “us”. From the uniqueness of our experiences, languages, our relationships and even the way we experience a hug, smile, a tear – she acknowledges that every person is a different world. That’s why she makes her bond with clients a priority.

With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an additional specialisation in Forensic and Legal Psychology, she has worked with more than 200 clients using a variety of techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy (ST), Mindfulness approaches and Positive Psychology. Her experience as a psychologist has led her to understand that there is “no-size-fits-all”, and therefore she adapts her techniques and therapeutic approach to each individual case.

Mora also enjoys being creative by writing and painting. In addition, she has been a dancer for many years which helped her understand the role of the body in processing emotions. She believes that like in a dance, we’re always moving, always changing. But being supported and feeling understood is what steer us into the directions we want – and that’s what she’s here for.

Mora speaks Spanish and English.
